This rate is good from Saturday, September 29th through Saturday, October 6th. A major credit card or deposit is needed when you make a reservation to guarantee your room. .

Our conference is happening right in the heart of the harvest season in Napa Valley. Please make sure to reserve your room before September 12, 2012 to ensure availability.

The resort typically sells out during this season and after September 12th our room block is released to the general public. So please book early!.

Resort Fee

The Resort Fee of $20.00 allows the hotel to provide a number of services. A welcome bottle of wine, wireless high speed internet access in your guest room as well as free parking, 24-hour room service and 2 bottles of water each day are just a few of the many amenities you will receive.

Student Rate Rooms

We have a few rooms available for students at a discounted rate. First priority will go to those students who are presenting papers. Please contact for assistance.

Getting to the Conference

AIRPORT: The nearest international airports are in San Francisco (SFO), San Jose (SJC), and Sacramento (SMF). San Francisco is the largest airport of the group presented and will have the most options for your travel schedule.

RENTAL CARS: The San Francisco International Airport offers representation from all the major car rental companies. For a complete listing and contact information please see Rental Cars.

TRAVEL: Once you touch down, the trip to the conference will take about an hour and a half to two hours depending on your route. Depending on the time you would like to take in getting to the conference, we suggest one of the following options.

Scenic Route (aprox. 2 hours):
Primarily utilizes: CA-1/US 101 N
This route takes you across the Golden Gate Bridge and through the Golden Gate National Recreation area.
Please note: there is a $6.00 toll for the Golden Gate Bridge payable on southbound traffic only).

Quicker Route (aprox. 1 1/2 hours):
Primarily utilizes: I-80
This route is a more direct route utilizing a larger interstate system.
You will be crossing the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge
(Please note: there is a $6.00 or $4.00 toll for the bridge depending on your travel time payable on westbound traffic only)

SHUTTLE SERVICE: If you'd rather take in the scenes at your leisure instead of driving, you might want to look into a shuttle service. Below are a couple of options that are available at San Francisco International Airport:
